Privacy policy

The short version
You can search the directory, read guides and take the hearing self-check without giving us any personal information. We collect personal information only when you send it to us through a form, and we don't sell it.
What we collect
- Forms. When you send an inquiry, claim request or contact message, we receive what you type: your name, email, phone number if given, and your message.
- Hearing self-check. Your answers stay in your browser. They are not sent to us or stored.
- Location search. If you choose “Use my location,” your browser shares your approximate location with the page to sort results. It isn't sent to our servers.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider (Netlify) processes standard technical data such as IP address and browser type to deliver and secure the site.
How we use it
- To forward your inquiry to the practice you contacted
- To verify and process claim requests from practices
- To reply to your messages and fix reported errors
Please don't include medical details, insurance numbers or other sensitive health information in a form. We ask only for what's needed to pass on your question.
Who we share it with
We share an inquiry only with the practice you addressed it to. We use service providers to run the site (hosting and form processing through Netlify). We don't sell or rent personal information, and we don't share it for advertising.
Cookies
The site doesn't set advertising or analytics cookies. If that changes, we'll update this policy and ask for consent where required.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information you've sent us by emailing hello@drauditory.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws; we honor those requests.
Children
The site is intended for adults and doesn't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
We'll post any changes on this page and update the date above.
